Maggie RetirementOn Friday 27th July, P & I bid a fond farewell to office manager, Maggie Bentley, as she left to enjoy her retirement.

Maggie was the first to join P & I when it was just managing director, Paul Benfield and technical director, Paul Terzza.

Since joining P & I in October 2006, Maggie has been involved in nearly all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, HR, tenders, policies and much more. She has been instrumental in some of the big decisions throughout the years including the implementation of P & I’s CRM system and choosing our IT providers. Maggie has also been responsible for obtaining and maintaining the following accreditations for P & I: ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 9001, CHAS, SafeContractor and Constructionline.

Maggie’s role will now be taken over by business administrator, Nikki Cushion, who over the last couple of months, has been taking part in a comprehensive handover.

Commenting on her retirement, Maggie said:

“I have loved working for Paul and Paul for the last 11 years. I’d like to thank them both for their support over the years and wish them every success for the future.”

Managing Director, Paul Benfield commented:

“Myself, Paul Terzza and everyone at P & I would like to thank Maggie for her hard work and dedicated service over the last 11 years. We will be sad to see Maggie go but we hope she enjoys her well-deserved retirement.”

Just before leaving on Friday, Maggie was presented with a card, a basket of flowers and a spa treatment for two at the Lime Wood Hotel & Spa in the New Forest.
