The new financial year has seen two P & I employees receive internal promotions. As of 1st April, both Dave Lawty and Matt Driver will start their new roles within P & I.
Dave Lawty has been promoted to the role of technical support specialist, having joined P & I as a senior technical engineer in 2007. This is a brand new role that has been created to ensure we provide the very best customer service. Dave’s new role will see him providing technical support to both our sales team and engineers.
Having joined us as an electrical engineer in 2009, Matt Driver has been promoted to the role of site supervisor. Matt will now be supervising all site installation work for projects, undertaking site surveys and ensuring that electrical testing is carried out correctly. The new role will see Matt become part of the projects team and will now be reporting to P & I’s project manager, Alan Houghton.
Paul Benfield, Managing Director of P & I commented:
“I am delighted to announce the very well deserved promotions of both Dave and Matt. They are both highly valued members of the P & I team and I am looking forward to seeing what they can achieve in their new roles. We are always on the lookout for development opportunities for our staff to progress their career with us. Our industry is niche and to be able to grow our own home-grown talent is vital to our business as we require a multi-skilled workforce.”
Congratulations to both Dave and Matt from everyone here at P & I!
