On Monday 3rd July, P & I welcomed new stores supervisor, Shaun Langrish, to the P & I team.
During the last month, P & I have welcomed two new apprentices to the office team. On Monday 15th May, we welcomed Hayley Laurence as our business administration apprentice and then on Monday 12th June, Nathan Jackett joined the service team as service control apprentice.
On Friday 26th May, P & I celebrated the official opening of their new purpose built premises in Harts Farm Way, Havant. The P & I team were joined by customers, suppliers, family and friends, along with Alan Mak, Conservative MP for Havant performing the official opening duties as guest of honour.
On Saturday 27th May, British Airways suffered a massive IT failure causing huge disruption to holiday makers over the bank holiday weekend.
On Friday 16th December, the P & I team took part in the Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. In total, we managed to raise £105.20 from the donations made for wearing our jumpers, the bake sale and the guess the amount of chocolates.
P & I are very proud to be the first critical power supply company to place skilled personnel on two wheels.
Following customer feedback and assessing our own KPI’s it was evident that response times were being effected by growing traffic congestion, especially in central London and other inner city areas…
Everyone likes to do their bit in aid of raising money for charity, none more so than us here at P & I. This year on the 2nd of August 2015 we had two members of P & I Generators volunteer to abseil down the side of the famous Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth…
On 23/05/2016 P & I played a game of football months in the making which was decided on Monday night. A squad consisting of the captain (Myself) Jake, Scott, Jon, Michelle, Ashley, Dan and Lewis.
After losing in the first leg to Adept Power the P & I team was eager to put things right…

For years we have sponsored Team 26 (a local Thundercat racing team) who have had some amazing recent results and continue to push on in their competitions.
S.S. Shieldhall is the largest working steam ship in Britain, maintained and operated by unpaid volunteers serving as a part of Britain’s maritime heritage and a member of the National Historic Fleet. This month P & I had the pleasure to complete a deal with the management team of the Shieldhall for a rather bespoke marine specification generator.
2016 has started rather brightly for everyone here at P & I with the prospect of the new building having begun development and expected to be fully up and running in the latter part of this year. The 1 ½ acre lot will offer new chances for progress for us and hopefully the surrounding areas.
Havant Borough Council continues to forge ahead with its Prosperity Havant strategy, having met with the constituency MP, key local developers and businesses at a business breakfast event held at the Public Service Plaza.

The UK Medical Research Council has a research unit based in Uganda which carries out clinical trials and research into HIV and AIDS. The main MRC Station is at Entebbe where there are three principle MRC buildings (labs and offices) plus various out buildings including generator houses, vehicle workshop, chemical and other stores plus an IT disaster recovery room and staff housing. All are located on or adjacent to the same campus in Entebbe whilst in the other stations in Masaka and Kyamlibuwa (a rural locale) a similar arrangement holds. There is one other clinic in the capital, Kampala.
